Elissa Zelman, Psy.D. & Scarsdale Center Director

r. Elissa Zelman is a clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults and specializes in eating disorders.  She received specialized eating disorder training at the Institute of Living Hospital in Hartford , CT. She later developed and directed the Eating Disorder Recovery Center in Washington DC .  After moving to NY in 1998, she began working at CEDAR Associates and opened the Scarsdale branch in 2002, where she currently remains as the director.  

Jennie Kramer, LMSW

ennie Kramer LMSW has been affiliated with CEDAR Associates for almost three years. In addition to providing individual, family and group therapy at CEDAR’s Scarsdale office, she  is also the Director of the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders in NYC.  Ms. Kramer has recently been interviewed on WNBC News re: Eating Disorders found in adult women and has been a frequent spokesperson on eating disorders in the media.  Her professional degree is from Fordham University and has also enjoyed a long career as a healthcare management consultant. Ms. Kramer maintains affiliation with  organizations such as  the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), The Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

 

Susan Schrott, LMSW

usan Schrott is a clinical social worker with over 17 years experience specializing in treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders. She was a consulting psychotherapist for the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders in New York City . She has been working for CEDAR since 2001.

Stacey Schulman, MS, RD, CDN

tacey Schulman is a registered dietitian who started her career by earning a bachelors degree in Nutritional Sciences with a concentration in human development and family studies from Cornell University. She completed her dietetic internship at the NewYork Weill Cornell Medical Center, and earned a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from New York University, where she was awarded a fellowship. She then went on to work as a clinical nutritionist at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Morgan Stanley’s Children’s Hospital.  In addition, she has been an adjunct faculty member of the Beth Israel School of Nursing, published in Today’s Dietitian and Diabetes Self Management, and has lectured to consumers and peers locally. She has been an active member of the Greater New York Dietetic Association and currently serves as its Public Relations Chair. Stacey is now in private practice in Manhattan, in addition to being a member of the CEDAR Associates team.
