THE WOMEN'S THERAPY CENTRE INSTITUTE is a not-for-profit institute offering training, workshops, groups and lectures around issues of eating and the body. We offer a one year post graduate training program, "Eating and The Body: A Cultural, Relational Psychoanalytic Framework";  continuing education courses; six week eating and body image psycho-educational groups for both the public and practitioners; lectures; and an annual event and Speak Out, "Indwelling - Living in a Female Body: The Project Continues". Human Relations Media, Inc.: Produces educational videos. Their most recent video released August 2002 discusses Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Food Abuse and Body Image Disturbance. The video conveys these messages through discussions with recovered eating disorder individuals, capturing the intensity, severity and struggle surrounding these eating disorders and providing hope and inspiration to all students facing the cultural and societal pressures surrounding body image, food and weight.
